Ideas, scripts, projects, imported recordings, voice references and generated files are stored in your local library. Cllio does not automatically upload this library. On Mac, supported downloaded voice and audio models run locally. You choose which files to import, export or share.

Microphone access is optional. Cllio requests access when you record or dictate. Dictation requires Apple’s on-device speech recognition for the selected language. Cllio does not save dictation microphone audio; you review the recognized text before inserting it. Recordings you choose to save remain in your library.

If you enable iCloud or share a project, the selected documents and their attachments are transferred through Apple’s iCloud services to your devices or the people you invite. Apple manages those services under your Apple Account settings. Exported or shared copies are controlled by their recipients.

Cloud music requires signing in. We process your Apple sign-in identifier and the profile details you allow, including your email address, to authenticate you and manage access. Music prompts, lyrics and generation settings you submit are sent to our music service and Google’s music-generation services to produce the requested audio. The service stores music drafts or temporary audio, subscription entitlement and usage records needed to operate the feature. Local audio playback does not require cloud generation.

Apple processes App Store payments. We receive transaction and entitlement information to verify purchases and apply music allowances. Cllio does not receive your full payment card details. Deleting a Cllio account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.

When you connect an AI client, import a web link or explicitly share content, the selected text, files or requests may be handled by that service. Your chosen service’s privacy terms also apply. The local agent connection is restricted to your computer by default.

Our hosting and authentication providers process technical information needed to deliver requests, prevent abuse and diagnose failures, such as network addresses and error records. Cllio does not use advertising tracking or sell your personal information. Apple may provide aggregated App Store analytics subject to its consent choices and privacy thresholds.

Local files remain until you remove them. iCloud copies can be managed through the app and your Apple Account. Temporary cloud music audio is removed after its handoff or expiry; service records needed for access, purchases, fraud prevention or legal obligations may remain as necessary. Use Delete account in Settings to remove your Cllio cloud music data and revoke Cllio’s Apple access. If deletion fails, the app lets you retry. Previously exported copies and other people’s shared copies are not removed by account deletion.

You can use local features without cloud music sign-in, decline microphone access, revoke permissions in system settings, disable iCloud, disconnect clients and delete local content.
